Iva Ballou
Iva Ballou is a motivational speaker, CEO, and founder of RealSophisticatedJoy.
Having grown up with a bilateral cleft palate, she always had someone speaking for her or she was expected to fit into a particular box. So, Iva spent her early adult life, breaking out of that box and finding her voice, her joy.
She now shares that gift with other women. She is a Motivational Speaker, Cleft Confidence Coach, and a facial difference advocate who uses her gifts to increase awareness and education for the facial difference community. She is also a co-host of the Love Meets Joy podcast. In this honest and empowering series, she discusses her personal journey and all things cleft.
Through finding her RealSophisticatedJoy, she now empowers others to pivot from shame to confidence in their journey.
I help young women aged 16-40, who struggle with anxiety, depression, and lack of confidence due to feeling different, find inner strength and embrace their uniqueness through personalized coaching and advocacy, empowering them to cultivate self-love, resilience, and authentic joy in their lives.
